Andrew Kaye, D.V.M.
Dr. Kaye graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1989. In 1995 Dr. Kaye joined the team at Walker Road Animal Hospital and since has been providing exceptional emergency care as well as ultrasonography. In his spare time he enjoys running and in addition to finishing multiple marathons, he is a Boston Marathon Finisher. Dr. Kaye also enjoys spending time with his family including a French Bulldog named Jean Luc.
Adam DeLuca, D.V.M.
Dr. DeLuca has been interested in veterinary medicine since he was ten years old and spent time on his grandparents’ farms in Amherstburg and LaSalle. He graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 1993, and has worked in Southwestern Ontario since then. Initially engaged in farm practice, his focus has gradually shifted to mixed practice. In 1997 Dr. DeLuca and his family moved back to the Windsor area and have been here since. In 2000 Dr. DeLuca joined the staff at Walker Road Animal Hospital full-time. As well as working at Walker Road, he provided locum relief work for other hospitals in the area. Since 2007 Dr. DeLuca has limited his locum work to devote more time to Walker Road as it became a 24 hour hospital. He still provides occasional locum and farm ambulatory services, in addition to endoscopy services for companion animals at Walker Road Animal hospital. Dr. DeLuca and his wife have three children and they love their dog Lego, a female black Lab born in 2008. In his spare time Dr. Deluca enjoys music, family time, on-line gaming with his children, and renovating their old house.
Leanne Horsman, D.V.M.
Ever since working as a kennel attendant in grade 11, Dr. Leanne Horsman has wanted to be a veterinarian. She went on to graduate as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. She started her career in 2006 working at a progressive veterinary hospital in Toronto, training with two board certified avian veterinarians. In 2010 Dr. Horsman joined the team at Walker Road Animal Hospital as both a daytime and emergency practitioner. Dr. Horsman enjoys emergency medicine and surgery and has a special interest in endoscopy and both avian and small mammal medicine. When not at Walker Road Animal Hospital, Dr. Horsman enjoys scuba diving, swimming, boating and spending time with her husband, her son, their cats Maxwell and Simba and their Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Reason.

Brittany Kennedy Spicer, Registered Veterinary Technician
Brittany has always had a love of animals and grew up with many pets, from dogs and cats, to hamsters and geckos. She graduated from Assumption High School in Windsor and went straight to St. Clair College, where she completed the Veterinary Technician Program and graduated in 2013. She then started her career with the Walker Road Animal Hospital family soon after. She takes a special interest in emergency care as well as exotic animal care and will be writing the Veterinary Technician National Exam to become a registered veterinary technician. Outside of work she enjoys sports, movies, books, and spending time with her ball python George.
Jordon King, Veterinary Technician
All her life, Jordon has had an affinity for animals. In grade 12 she did a co-operative education placement at a local veterinary practice. Since then, she knew her calling. Through school, she was a kennel attendant for 3 hospitals in the Windsor area. Jordon graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at St. Clair College in 2012. She joined the team at Walker Road Animal Hospital in October of 2013.
She is the proud owner of Georgia the Dalmatian, Memphis the Great Dane, and Oliver the cat. In her spare time, Jordon enjoys getting together with her friends to watch movies, playing with her younger brother, and spending time with her family.
Candice Miller, Veterinary Technician
Candice first joined the team as a co-op student while she was finishing her Veterinary Technology Program at University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus, where she developed a special interest in emergency medicine and animal nursing care. After completing the program in May 2014, she joined the team part time; then when September came along she moved from her home town of Thamesville to Windsor and joined the team full time. In her spare time, Candice loves reading, painting, horseback riding, cuddling with her cat Mop, and spending time with her family and friends.
Katherine Bryant, Registered Veterinary Technician
Katherine graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus in 2000. After working emergency medicine in Toronto, she moved back home to Essex County and joined the team at Walker Road. She is also a full time professor at Ridgetown Campus in both the Veterinary Technology and Veterinary Office Administration programs. When she’s not working, Katherine spends her time with her family and their numerous pets.
Cheryl Mayer, Registered Veterinary Technician
Cheryl graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at St. Clair College in 2004. She moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2007 where she worked for 4 years in an emergency/referral clinic as an ICU and triage nurse. Her main interests are emergency medicine and internal medicine. In 2010 she traveled for 6 months around the east coast of Australia where she also worked as a veterinary technician. She has returned to Windsor with her 2 favourite felines, Vinny and Moose and is thrilled to be part of the dynamic team at Walker Road Animal Hospital. In her spare time she enjoys volleyball, watching the Tigers baseball games in the summer or snowboarding in the winter.

Corinne graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at St Clair College in 2013. She began working at Walker Road Animal Hospital shortly afterwards. Corinne has always loved animals, and grew up wanting to make a career out of it. In her spare time, Corinne loves reading, music, and spending time with her family and Miniature Schnauzer, Abby.

Natalie graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at St. Clair College in 2001 and began her career as a Veterinary Technician at Walker Road Animal Hospital that same year. She has a special interest in emergency medicine and anesthesia. Natalie has also worked for the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus as a part-time instructor for the Veterinary Medical Office Administration and Veterinary Technician Program. In her spare time she especially enjoys cycling and running and has currently finished an Ironman and two marathons. Natalie also enjoys spending time with her family which includes a dog named Roxy, three cats Frank, Beans, and Gillyweed and four small birds Gary, Chips, Meatloaf and Marmalade.
Ashley Lennox, Senior Lead Technician, Registered Veterinary Technician
Ashley is a registered Animal Health Technician who graduated from Northern College in Haileybury, Ontario in 2006. Shortly after graduating, she moved out to Vancouver Island and worked there for the past 8 years. In that time, she worked with multiple specialists in orthopaedics, dentistry and ophthalmology and spent a lot of her time outdoors sailing, camping and running. Recently she has moved back to Ontario and joined the Walker Road Animal Hospital team in 2014. Ashley has a special interest in Dentistry and Nutrition and she really enjoys client education. She shares her life with a 12-year-old husky Nanook, and 7-year-old cat Annie.
Jaclyn Oleynik, Lead Technician, Registered Veterinary Technician
Jaclyn graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at St. Clair College in 2014 and began working at Walker Road Animal Hospital before finishing school. She also has her Equine Science certificate from the University of Guelph, and is a certified horseback riding instructor. Jaclyn has a special interest in emergency medicine, as well as large animal medicine.
Jaclyn has two draft horses: Shadow and Doni; as well as four dogs: a Beagle, Ralphie , 2 Siberian Huskies: Eli and Aria, and Kobe, a Boxer/Lab mix; 4 Budgies: Lucky, Lou, Olaf and Sven; and a plecostomus: Rocky. Jaclyn enjoys spending time with family and her boyfriend Adam, horseback riding, urban mushing, kayaking, rollerblading, and biking.

Mary-Louise joined our team in November, 2014 as a receptionist. Since graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science degree, she has worked in medical clinics and insurance offices. She lives with her husband and two kids. They share their home with their yellow lab, Reggie and their cat, Fez. In her spare time, she likes to read and watch movies and go out with her family and friends.
